The pet store may not be the best place to buy cat toys. They are often way overpriced. Of course, this does not necessarily include pet superstores like Petsmart and Petco. These chain stores are quite affordable. The most expensive stores are the privately owned pet shops. Supermarkets and drugstores that sell pet supplies often also have overpriced pet toys. If you're looking for cheap yet safe cat toys, check out discount stores in your area. In my locality, we have Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Family Dollar and Big Lots. Sneezing may be due to a respiratory infection. Respiratory infections may be caused by bacteria, a virus or even fungi. If your cat has a cold or other type of infection, you may also find that your cat's eyes are watery or runny. There may also be an accumulation of discharge in the corners of the eyes. You can wipe the discharge away with a warm, wet cloth although your vet may also prescribe drops to dispel the infection. When it comes to food, you should choose food designed for the age of your cat. Kittens will of course need kitten food. Adult food is hard for them to chew and digest. Adult cats need adult food. Dry food is often recommended for kittens and cats. Wet food can be mixed with dry food to make the food more appealing to your feline. Senior cats may do better on wet food as it is easier to chew and has a stronger aroma. Younger cats need crunchy food to keep their bodies trim and their teeth strong.
